Floristry

Inspired by SirSengir's classic mod Forestry, this is also a mod about bees and breeding. However, in Floristry you won't be breeding the bees themselves. Instead, you'll be using Minecraft bees to breed magical flowers with a wide variety of mysterious effects. And that's to say nothing about the honey your bees can make from them!

This mod is in a very early stage!

Current Features

When two vanilla flowers are close to each other and one gets pollinated by a bee, there's a chance for them to breed and spread. In some cases, they might mutate into a new flower entirely.

Tier 1 flowers (decorative and dye only):

• Rose Bush + Wither Rose = Wither Bush
• Sunflower + Open Eyeblossom = Moonflower
• Cornflower + (Any Red Flower) = Hermit Purple
• Lily of the Valley + (Any Tulip) = Bubblebud
• Torchflower + Orange Tulip = Brandflower
• Rose Bush + Blue Orchid = False Rose

Planned for the future:

• About 10 Tier 1 flowers.
• 3 more tiers of special flowers that can only be obtained by cross-breeding. Higher tiers of special flowers have unique effects.
• Special honey which can be made by bees when they gather nectar from special flowers. It has much more concentrated effects compared to the flowers.
